The Hattie E. Evans Family Foundation is building its Summer 2026 program team. These are hands-on roles with real responsibility — designed for people who show up, follow through, and care about the communities they serve.

Invitation-only positions. Each role below has been extended to specific individuals by name. To proceed, you will need the personal invite code provided to you by the Foundation.

Volunteer Board Role

Player Development Advisor

Provides strategic oversight to the Player Development Coordinator and leads student workshops, bringing firsthand professional athletic experience to shape how students understand their own development.

Maintains consistent, caring contact with approximately 50 enrolled families across both summer programs, connecting them to real local resources and ensuring family barriers don't become student absences.

Delivers targeted small-group and one-on-one academic intervention in literacy and/or mathematics to students enrolled in the Foundation's summer programs at Birmingham and Montgomery sites.

Director of Curriculum and Instructional Quality

Leads the design, launch, and daily execution of the Foundation's Summer 2026 instructional program at Girls Inc., Birmingham — building curriculum, hiring and coaching 2–4 instructors, and ensuring grant outcomes are met.

AI Operations and Systems Designer

Builds the operational backbone of the Foundation — designing the filing systems, workflows, templates, and documentation standards every other role depends on. Remote, 10 hrs/week, May–August 2026.
